Home / Integrated Academics / Preparatory (Grade 3 to Grade 5)
The integrated curriculum at the preparatory level aligns with the guidelines of the New Education Policy (NEP 2020). The curriculum at the preparatory level is directed towards developing in children, a sense of creativity, reflection, and connection. Indian traditions and values are promoted in all aspects of the curriculum. The assessment followed in these stages is continuous formative/adaptive assessment, which enables the learner and the teacher to track the progress made by the child. Extensive activities are planned for the children that complement and support the academic programme. The spirit of fair play and cooperation is built into the learning programme at these stages.
Physical education and sports play a critical role here, as students are encouraged to jump into a favourite sport of their choice and passion, and the programme is structured in such a manner that the skills required for the game are focused on. An array of engagement activities are organized for this age group to empower them with different skills that would groom them to be well-rounded personalities.
